The United States of America was founded on ideals of freedom and justice. Contemporary Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Benito Juárez shared a vision on building a binational brotherhood relationship rather than one based only on next-door-neighbor common interests, as addressed by Ambassador Ken Salazar at the reception of the 246th Independence celebration. It is important to acknowledge that the US and Mexico are stronger together.
Now is the best time to continue strengthening our cultural, economic, social and family ties. Our people have a rich and diverse heritage, and deserve better systems, policies and tools that work towards building bridges and platforms to solve problems in both countries, our role in FUMEC/USMFS is to accelerate the binational intersection of Science and Technology as backbone of our economic, environmental and social evolution.
